![]() ![]() Our site was nicely wooded and quiet (as opposed to many of the RV sites, which are more exposed). We stayed at Seashore Campsites in what they call a "primitive camping" site-i.e. In fact, my husband and I are already planning a late summer get away to Seashore Campgrounds. Over all, thanks to Seashore Campsites we had a wonderful vacation and are planning on making this a yearly beach destination. There is a camp store where you can buy anything from groceries, snacks and camping supplies to suveniers. Maintainence staff is around all day and security patrols all night. We felt this campgrounds is very safe for the kids. We really enjoyed the wagon ride around the campgrounds at night and the kids loved going to the movies each night at the activity center. There are activities going on all throughout the day for adults and kids. ![]() The pool is also beautiful but was a little more crowded. ![]() We all really enjoyed the swimming lake with its sandy bottom and beach, and spent hours lounging in the beach chairs. However, we ended up spending alot of time at the campgrounds itself, as there was plenty to do right there. This was very helpful in planning our days. Upon arrival we were given an information packet with detailed directions to all attractions, beaches, shopping, restaurants, etc. Seashore Campsites is located close to the Cape May beaches and attractions. There are several bathhouses scattered all over the campgrounds, along with a laundry facility. Ironicly, one of them was a return camper who wrote one of the reviews for this campgrounds here. The showers and restrooms are very, very clean and over 5 days, we only encountered a couple of people using them at the same time. The campground was not crowded at all for the third week in June. They have over 600 campsites laid out over 90 acres of woods and paved roads, with lots of seasonal campers, as well as the staff, who are extreamly nice. We tented on a large wooded site (H11) that had water, electric and cable, close to the swimming lake and bathhouse. This campgrounds was more than we could have ever expected. This was our first time camping again in over 20 years and didn't know what to expect. We just returned from our Cape May beach vacation at Seashore Campgrounds, my granddaughters (ages 5 and 7) first trip to the ocean. ![]()
